Some online raves from his appearance on SOUND ADVICE
on LVROCKS.COM hosted by Pieter Holland and Mustang Sally
"...a great mind blowing show."
Pieter Holland - Host, SOUND ADVICE
"Show was simply amazing. Some folks in the chat room
thought the highlight of the show was watching him do a levitation
trick that shows him riseing off the floor. Scott did trick
after trick after trick. His wit too was sharp. His one liners for
the most part were really funny (mostly rated PG13), Pieter/Sally
were on top of there game tonight putting more of an adult slant
onto his jokes...
I personally enjoyed watching Mustang Sally get become his sexy
ass't and help him with a disapearing balls trick. Sally's face
would go almost completely blank with amazement after a trick then
burst out in laughter.
Did I mention how much fun everyone was having? Excellent
work to everyone. That was a great show!"

On a side note, opener Scott Hitchcock, who also assists McBride,
looks to have a promising career of his own.
Performing completely silent, Hitchcock performed simple magic
with tremendous originality, precision and humor. He made old-hat
standards like the knot-in-a-rope trick and the dancing cane fresh
again. He's worth the ridiculously low $15 ticket price alone.

VEGAS MAGICIAN WINS MAGIC"CAGE MATCH"
COLON, MI - For the 63rd annual Abbott's Magic Get Together
held this weekend, hundreds of magicians descended upon the small
town of Colon, MI. They gathered to learn tricks of the trade,
share stories, and buy magical apparatus. On Thursday night
Curly's, the world famous Magic Bar, held it's annual Curly's Close-Up
Classic. "Close-Up" is a magician's term for sleight
of hand magic that is done up close, right under the noses
of the audience. Magicians from all around the country entered,
but the champion left standing at the end was Las Vegas based magician
Scott Hitchcock.
"This was unlike any magic contest I've seen before,"
said Minnesota magician Tru DiCanzo. "The Curly's Classic
is like the wrestling cage match of magic. It's one of the
most challenging performance situations in the middle of a bar with
the noise of video games, and pool tables."
Scott's performance showcased his skills with a crystal ball that
floated around his hands, a ring that magically melted on and off
a string, and a deck of cards that seemed to obey his every command.
For a finale, Scott made a watch from one of the bar patrons vanish
from their wrist and re-appear in his hand. "I have no
idea how he did that! It just isn't possible," exclaimed
the awestruck customer.
Scott returns to Vegas with his trophy this week, where he will
be opening soon at Caesar's Magical Empire in Caesar's Palace.

Vegas' New Magic Show a Winnerby Robert Shaughnessy, Special Correspondent
to Las Vegas InsideTips, MagicWebChannel.com reviewing the show
Xtreme Close-Up Magic at the Orleans Casino.
"A fine performer named Scott Hitchcock welcomed
us, and proceeded to demonstrate baffling feats of magic, as rings
penetrated ropes, watches vanished from the wrists of some audience
members and pens disappeared up his nose. Scott worked with Steve
for nearly six years over at Caesars Magical Empire before it closed
last year. A delightfully-skilled entertainer with an infectious
smile, he keeps the action going at a fast pace..."
